Air-Con Regas in Benfleet
Air-conditioning regas for R134a and R1234yf systems, to get cold, fresh air blowing again. Not sure which refrigerant your car takes? We'll check it for you.
Air-con loses a little refrigerant every year, so even a healthy system gradually blows warmer until it's barely cooling at all. A regas tops the system back up to the correct charge, so you get proper cold air again, clearer demisting in winter and less strain on the system.
We regas both common systems: older cars run R134a, while most vehicles from around 2017 onward use the newer R1234yf gas. We'll confirm which yours needs, evacuate the old refrigerant, check for obvious leaks, and recharge it to the manufacturer's specification.

Frequently asked
How do I know which refrigerant my car needs? +
Older vehicles use R134a and most cars from around 2017 onward use R1234yf. The type is usually listed under the bonnet, and we'll confirm it for you before we start. Please contact us if you're unsure.
How often should I regas my air-con? +
Every 2 to 3 years is a good rule of thumb. If your air-con is taking longer to cool or never gets properly cold, it's likely due a regas.
My air-con still isn't cold after a regas. Why? +
If a regas doesn't restore cold air, there's usually a leak or a faulty component such as the compressor. We'll diagnose it with our equipment and give you an honest quote before any further work.
