Is remapping safe for my engine? +
When it's done properly, yes. We stay within safe limits for your specific engine, read the results back on the dyno, and only push as far as your hardware allows. A bad generic map is what gives tuning a bad name; ours are tailored and tested.
Will it affect my insurance or warranty? +
You should always declare a remap to your insurer, and we'll give you the details to do so. We'll also be straight with you about any warranty implications before we start, so there are no surprises.
Can a remap really improve MPG? +
On many turbo-diesels an economy-focused map can improve fuel economy by giving you more torque lower down, so you work the engine less. We'll recommend the right map for how you actually drive.
Is it reversible? +
Yes. We keep your original file, so your car can be returned to its exact factory map at any time.
